We help you create changein behaviour

Friction in safety, meaning, capability and effort decides whether we act.If one of them is at zero, nothing happens. We find the bottlenecks and remove them.

Tomas Lund developed Behavioral Friction Theory: a model for what decides whether we do the thing we are supposed to, or leave it.

Instead of immediately building a course, writing a guide or introducing a new procedure, we look for the place where it goes wrong: Does it make sense? Is it too hard? Do you feel unsafe? Or is it simply too much bother?

That is the thinking we apply across learning, behavioural design, compliance and software. Compliance is behaviour, so it is the same mechanism in all three places. We find the friction and change what causes it.

Tomas has also written a book on learning, Superlæring: Læringens DNA (in Danish), and a book on Behavioral Friction Theory is on the way. You can read the research here.
